LOINTEK awarded the Marcelo Gangoiti Prize in its 28th edition

The jury of the Marcelo Gangoiti Prize, composed of representatives from the four organizing institutions—Eusko Jaurlaritza – Basque Government (SPRI Group), the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, CEBEK – Bizkaia Business Confederation, and CFSomorrostro—has decided to award this year’s prize to the company LOINTEK.

This decision is primarily based on:

  • Strategic vision and global leadership: LOINTEK is a global benchmark in steam generation systems for solar thermal power plants and thermal storage.
  • International presence, operating in more than 50 countries.
  • Global growth with social and environmental responsibility.
  • Annual investment in R&D&I, representing 3.25% of its revenue.
  • Commitment to equality and local talent.

The award was presented by Jaione Ganzarain, Deputy Minister of Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of the Basque Government, and Jon Ansoleaga Ugarte, General Director of the SPRI Group. The award was received by the three co-owner brothers of LOINTEK: Serafin Loroño, Javier Loroño, and Jose Antonio Loroño.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude for the honor of receiving the Marcelo Gangoiti Prize in its 28th edition. This recognition reflects the effort and dedication of the entire LOINTEK team and reinforces our commitment to innovation, global leadership, and social and environmental responsibility. We are deeply proud of this achievement and will continue working to remain a benchmark in our sector, staying true to the values that have guided us from the beginning. This award motivates us to move forward with renewed energy and to continue contributing to sustainable development and local talent.
